2014 College Commits

We are proud to announce that Christian Tobler and Jacob Buhler, from our 96 Premier team, have committed to play soccer at Brigham Young University.  They will graduate this year and join the Cougars upon graduation.  Chris and Jacob have been a huge part of our 96 Premier team's success, anchoring the midfield and back line.  Congratulations!

Chris had this to say about his recent commitment, "It is a dream come true to play at the Y, and I want to thank everyone who helped me along the way. Without the teammates, coaches, and other support I have had I wouldn't be here."

Coach Greg Jolley commented on the announcement, "It has been more than a pleasure to be their coach.... along with the rest of the 96 Rangers team, who have made the last four years memorable! Nothing better as a coach than to see your players develop at a young age and then at an older age have success beyond club and high school levels!"

Best of luck to both of you.

Utah Rangers FC joins NPL

Starting in the summer of 2013 the Utah Rangers FC Premier teams will be competing in the Utah Division of the Mountain Developmental League, which is part of the NPL.  The NPL is organized by US Club Soccer and is a group of regionalized leagues that compete for an opportunity to play in a national competition against many of the best clubs in the country.  Our teams will have the opportunity to play against top teams from Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Las Vegas.  This is a huge step for our club and we are very excited to compete against the top teams in our region and nation.

"We've been looking for opportunities for our teams to compete at higher levels and the NPL provides that for us.  Many of the top teams in the country are competing in the NPL and we are very excited for the opportunity to compete at one of the highest levels in the country."
